A Winter Poem
#2

Marcus1970 Wrote:Nights are getting cold fire in the hole
The summer is done
You can see your breath inch an hour
By the morning sun

The season builds the lonely end of the rink
So cold and dark scared
The little leaves leave
Dead and stark

A snowflake the lookahead
Coming down to freeze
Snow falling
Ice is covering the trees something on

The way it falls all over
Most days and nights
Looks like Christmas
Turn on all the lights coffee girl

Cold wind blowing lionized
Across the frozen lake morning moon
The river don’t sleep
And I’m wide awake long time running

Out through the snow
You yelled in my ear escape at the hand of the traveling man
“It’s wintertime”
The start of another new year little bones

Each of lines in the poem is a verse from a Hip song. See how many songs you can identify from the 28 lines.

Hint: One song is used twice for a total of 27 different songs.

A quick glance...I got a few...nice job!
