i couldn't even watch the preview as a boy (i have a fear of aliens though...)

craziest thing is, that movie is based on a true story allegedly! hock:

i love Silence Of The Lambs, Red Dragon, and Hannibal...they don't scare me though...


honestly, i have to say, i still to this day, find Jack Nicholson's portrayal of The Joker to be more frightening than any villain in all of cinematic history!

he captures the spirit of a murderous madman so well in that film...and the makeup is just fucking creepy! :thumb:


i'm surprised nobody's mentione "It" yet...

Bram Stroker's Dracula was excellent, as was Shadow Of The Vampire...

also, has anyone seen "Ravenous"...it's quite good, and it has an amazing twist to it...definately check it out if you like silence of the lambs...and thoses ort of suspense thrillers with nice little grizly bits (both figuratively and literally :lol thrown in for good measure.
