IMO this album is to Adore what Friends And Enemies Of Modern Music is to Machines Of God...and therfore any Adore fan should really really appreciate/enjoy this album. if you want big crunchy riffs, arena anthems, Corgan's trademark "rage in a cage" approach, acoustic ballads, grandoise and breath-taking string sections, or even a happy go lucky moment or two, this album is not what you're looking for, if that's what you want to hear, go listen to the pumpkins' tunes that you already know and love...

BUT

if you think you'd like to hear a very interesting collection of back to the future synth-pop/alt/rock for the new millenium, and give it a fighting chance to grow on you, then you will probably be quite pleasantly surprised with what you find. or you might not be so surprised, depending on just how well you know, and are in touch with your "inner-Billy" .
