I am wearing the most outrageous jacket I bought at a second hand store (I'd describe it if possible, hand embroidered vines ... real hippy stuff). Downie says "nice jacket" and signs "Enthusiasm Conquers all, Gord Downie"

It was quite the jacket.

A warning to autograph seekers (as clueless as me). I had the Hip sign my concert ticket at that show. They all signed the back except Gord D who signed the front. Afterwards I thought I'd laminate it to protect it forever. The lamination made the front of the ticket go completely black. No more Downie signature.
