Actually, the answer to your questions is, "yes."

Have I solved the problems of the world? No. Am I going to provide a detailed accounting of my political activity or charitable donations? No. But don't make assumptions re where my time and energy goes. That would reveal you to be a fool -- that is, if your words so far haven't already sealed it.

All that's neither here nor there. The question is whether you're crying crocodile tears for the poor at home: whether you actually give a shit about domestic poverty in any constructive way, or whether you're just being disingenuous.
