If the Hip put out an acoustic re-issue of Day for Night, I'd be saying the same thing. Reissuing the same album with different arrangements is essentially admitting that you've got nothing new.
It's one thing to do an "unplugged" or alternate take release that covers your whole career. It's another to reissue the same album, going acoustic for that patina of sincerity.
