yup.. I'm just clarifying that that CBC Realtime performance was March 8 1997. (I'm anal about dates - gord didn't start playing guitar until 94-95 so Irrelevance was certainly written after '92).
But you're absolutely right. It's an amazing performance and a great debut. It's too bad Gord decided to leave out the "we'll get over it" part that Dave Bidini sang at the end of the song when he eventually recorded it for CMG.
