honestly the only ones out of that list that i can see them adding to the list would be:

at the hundredth meridian (what's so rare about this one? they play it at every show)

thugs
lionized


but hey, whatta i know?

Escape's not rare either, they played it in tons of shows and there are lots of great versions. I wouldn't mind having them bring it back, though, because I don't think I've ever heard it live.

well not all are rare but maybe not played alot but 100th is a great version from ara show thats why its there

Nope...Gord did a version with the Rheostatics on a bootleg called Swingin' On a Star...a strange non sequitur of a CBC radio show that seemed to combine random people on random songs. Look for it on the FTP...the 92 version of Irrelevance is AMAZING. Beautiful haunting guitar, great chugging rhythm and drums.

yup.. I'm just clarifying that that CBC Realtime performance was March 8 1997. (I'm anal about dates - gord didn't start playing guitar until 94-95 so Irrelevance was certainly written after '92).

But you're absolutely right. It's an amazing performance and a great debut. It's too bad Gord decided to leave out the "we'll get over it" part that Dave Bidini sang at the end of the song when he eventually recorded it for CMG.
