If we can look beyond Canada Day for a sec, who's making the trek North, Wasaga Way?

Here's the line-up of curtain jerkers before the boys tear-up some Huron horizons, any good?

03:45 PM Colin Linden (His BARK stuff is really good, anybody seen him solo?)
04:15 PM David Gogo (I've heard the name... is he decent?)

Never heard of the first two, but Colin Linden is cool. I interviewed him when he played the Ottawa Folkfest in 2002, and he's a fantastic guy. As a solo act he's very much a bluesman. You'll like him.

As for David Gogo, my high school garage band opened for him in Thunder Bay at a place called Crocks N' Rolls waaaay back in '95 (believe it or not). I remember him being a really nice guy. Didn't care much for his music though. Pretty much your standard blues-rock Jeff Healy/Colin James kind of stuff. Nothing to write home about in my opinion.

Well, I'm in luck! I like Healy/Colin James stuff, and the stories you've told me about your van travellin', hard livin', garage band (What was their name again?) are a sure fire conversation starter with Gogo.

No seriously, what was the name of your band again? I've been racking my brain all day.

The high school band was called Wilderness Drive (stupid name, I know), but the band you're probably thinking of was called Visions of Kody.
