06:00 PM The Greatest Band in the Land. (It's still goin to be daylight when they finish, hopefully they pull out a couple of encores!)
I am there this year,
I am not sure of the times but I think Blackie and the Rodeo kings are there as well as Taj Mahal. Really kick ass blues bands.
I'll be there, can't wait! I've never been to wasaga beach, sounds like a blast though. I've never heard of any of the openers either!

I'm totally going as well. Don't really care about the openers. Just can't wait to see thehip on the Beach and enjoy the cottage for the weekend!!

Never heard of the first two, but Colin Linden is cool. I interviewed him when he played the Ottawa Folkfest in 2002, and he's a fantastic guy. As a solo act he's very much a bluesman. You'll like him.
As for David Gogo, my high school garage band opened for him in Thunder Bay at a place called Crocks N' Rolls waaaay back in '95 (believe it or not). I remember him being a really nice guy. Didn't care much for his music though. Pretty much your standard blues-rock Jeff Healy/Colin James kind of stuff. Nothing to write home about in my opinion.

Wow.. coincidentally.. I decided to go to Wasaga Beach yesterday to find some more info out.. Guess what? The locals don't know too much about this concert

I am going for sure.. I emailed Rock 95 in Barrie to get more information.. What Beach #? There are 5 beach areas up at Wasaga ..
As for Colin Linden, he is kind of a no miss for me.. I wish it was Blackie and The Rodeo Kings.. I think, it's Colin solo.. which is fine.. Colin is an amazing slide guitar player.. I have seen his solo show but that back in the late '80's :wink:

The high school band was called Wilderness Drive (stupid name, I know), but the band you're probably thinking of was called Visions of Kody.
