I think it's great news! And it couldn't have come on a better time. Just before Christmas!!
True Kim.. I remember the discussion who is worse, Bush or Saddam, both in their own way..

But now Saddam is captured, what do you all think should be a fair punishment? Deathpenalty??

As soon as I heard the news I started thinking about the punishment.. and there really are only two, Jail and Death. Of course there are variations of each.. imprisoned slave, torture followed with a slow death.

Both of which will present new problems.

If he is to be executed then there is risk of making a martyr out of him.

If he is jailed then there is the risk of more terrorist threats to have his release.

Should be interesting to see how this is handled..


Hmm, sitting here writing this and I had an idea, we give him an old fashioned labotomy and then give him back to Iraq! Then his followers have the cherished ex-leader thus eliminating the two problems I mentioned above.

If only it were that easy!
