Thank you everyone for your suggestions. I actually downloaded 2 or 3 songs from every suggestion you gave! (Exept for the ones i already have heard)
Although most of these bands are good, there are none that I consider like the Hip. I think the closest is The Watchmen, and I do have a few of their CD's.
I think my conclusion is that there is no such thing as a band like the Hip. There is only THE Hip! I guess that when you like something so much, something else will never completley satisfy you.
Just for fun, here is my second favorite band - Seven Mary Three. Their name is kind of wierd. If you have not heard them, listen to some stuff off of their first album, "American Standard (1995)" It is a bit Hipish.
