Nice interview with a great synopsis by Canuckeh. The one interesting tidbit that wasn't in your list was the discussion of the first single. Rob said "Machine" seemed like a natural first single to him and some of the other guys as well but that Gord Downie didn't see it that way and after some back and forth discussion Gord D was able to convince the rest to go with the more "daring" (Rob's description) "In a World..." instead of the more obvious Machine. Sounds like they are enjoying playing Machine in practice sessions and that it will likely be played live (as well as likely being the next single).

I dialed into this on Monday while Terrarium was on and my heart jumped to my throat thinking the worse. Its just an unusual song to stumble into even on XM. Turned out to be all good.

I always check the verge when i'm in my car, and stumbled upon the brussels show.....happy accidents. my wife even enjoyed it. she's hit or miss depending on the song.

They're playing some great bootleg shows too with alternate (early) live versions of songs.

That Cleveland 1996 show that was on this morning is just perfect.
I believe the only live shows they play are the four or five “vaults” that were available for purchase/download on The Hip’s site around 2008 or 2009.
