I agree. Let's come back to this after a mourning period.

Since we have almost as many votes as usual, I'm not going to delay the end of this poll however I agree that we should put this on hold and come back once we've all had a chance to reflect, grieve, celebrate and give thanks for everything Gord has given to us over the years.

I’m ok with taking a break from the polls. I’ll say, though, that I have listened to more Hip since we started this game, than I have in years. So while we are all in mourning about his death, these games are all about the reason we came together in the first place, and that is a love of this band and their music.

Would love to see this poll brought back again. Over the first 5 albums it's generated some very insightful commentary from a large number of fans. Although it is going to be more difficult to be critical in the aftermath, it would get us back to discussing and listening to the music again, which is one of the best ways to honour Gord.

I agree - I really look forward to seeing how some of the later albums shake out - I think I have a pretty good idea of each winner, but I greatly enjoy seeing what songs are early exits and which make it to the top 3 or 4

Feels a bit 'too soon' to me, but that's just my opinion.

why? it isn't a personal attack on Gord. it is just a bunch of fans voting for their favorite song.

I was going to start things up at the beginning of next week; been busy listening to Introduce Yerself but looking forward to getting back to the voting and discussion of these albums.
