This is why I love the Hip so much. Their music is so diverse and moves people in so many different ways.

It's great reading everyones reasons for choosing one concert or the other. I think you could pick just about any 20 hip songs, split them between 2 concerts and have almost an even split between fans.

Count stands at 8 votes concert #2, 7 votes for concert #1.

Opiated.....Gems....Eldorado.....Put it Off....Emperor Penguin (an incredibly strong composition that just isn't played enough)....

I might cream myself if I heard all those in one show nowadays....

-BUT-

Fiddler's Green (given that the world [or their careers] would most certainly be coming to an end if they played THAT) .......Terrarium.....Sherpa.....Escape .... wow. Those are amongst my very favorite...

It's kinda like having to choose between a thick Porterhouse or a lovely Veal Marsala....hmmm....

I suppose I'd opt for #1 - Emperor Penguin is the difference-maker. I wonder why they don't play that more often.
Such a tight song - great crescendo, and winds down to a nice finish - seems perfect for live performance....
