Hey Everyone,
If you could only attend 1 of the following 2 Hip concerts listed below, which would it be and why?
Concert 1: The last song from each of the Hip's albums:
Opiated, Gems, Eldorado, Impossibilium, Put it Off, Emperor Penguin, Pines, Dark Canuck, Josephine.
or
Concert 2: The second last song from each album:
Another Midnight, Fiddler's Green, Wherewithal, Titanic Terrarium, Sherpa, Escape, The Bear, Dire Wolf, Are We Family.
Either would be AMAZING but I'm just curious which one you would pick.

Fuck. It's hard to say. I LOVE Impossibilium, but Fiddler's Green...

Oooh, that's a real tough call.....but I'm gonna have to go with #2 because Another Midnight is in there, and that's my all-time favourite Hip song (don't ask me why). Fiddler's Green is a beautiful song as well, and I would love to hear it live. Dire Wolf and Sherpa? Also great live songs.

I have to say number 1 even though 2 has the better lineup imo. Its mostly because of Opiated I love that song, Ive only heard it live once, and I'd love to hear it again, plus Ive never heard Eldorado live that would be great to hear as well.

Number one. Album enders are in my opinion the Hip's greatest strengh. And having Opiated, The Dark Canuck, Put It Off, and Impossibilium in one show basically make the perfect show for me no matter what.

Thanks Summiteer, I did overlook ACSC and Highway Girl. That makes Concert #2 even more appealing but if I had to choose I think I'd go to Concert #1.
The songs in #1 seem like they would flow nicely together and if played in order the evening would end with an appropriate " Goodnight, Goodnight"

#2 for sure. It's a good mix of slow, and up-beat songs. Would keep you on your toes....and of course, Fiddler's Green

I'd pick concert one, because it has more energetic songs. I also love the Emperor Penguin and Dark Canuck, how there is that epic build up to the rockin' parts, and then it cools off.
That being said, my dream in life has always been to see Highway Girl live... I'll stick with concert one.
