I was at that surprise Montreal show at the Spectrum as well, crazykrammer. Great day. I sat in line for hours that morning and was the 3rd to last person in line able to get tickets.
Still to this day one of my favorite shows of all time. Wake up in the morning with nothin to do, and by the end of the day you're at a small club watching the best band in the world. Can't get much better than that.

Strange thing i remember about the Stoon gig, I was way up in the nosebleeds, but I swear to god i saw some jerk in the front row throw a cup of whatever he was drinkin at Robby, cause it looked like he was wipin the shit off his hair, and i thought i seen a cup hitting him, and then Gord D went over and whispered something to him. I was pretty high/drunk but thats what it looked like from my vantage point, i think it was about 5 tunes in, anyone confirm or deny?
I will not give up. My face is set,my gait is fast,my goal is heaven,my road is narrow,my way is rough,my companions are few,my guide is reliable,my mission is clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, diluted or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity,or meander in the maze of mediocrity. I will not give up,shut up or slow down....Blessed Be!
