was in town today & interviewed on the local radio station and mentioned how he was listening to it all the way here on his drive from edmonton then the dj asked him what time he tuned in and ron said when the hips courage was on is when he tuned in....pointless, but cool

I ran into Ron McLean at The Hip's show at The Hummingbird Theatre in Toronto, 2002. He was very personable, and definitely a fan. When I get home tonight I'll post the pic of him and I.

During the Juno tribute video before The Hip performed Ron spoke about the band which looked to have been taped at the Juno Cup game in Selkirk. He had on The Hip's 2002 World Tour longsleeve shirt. He probably picked it up at the Toronto show in 2002 Chris mentioned.
