There is no official word on torontoraptors.com..maybe tomorrow?

Raps GM Pete Babcock took no time in shooting that rumour down:

"Rob Babcock, general manager of the Toronto Raptors was interviewed today on the Toronto radio station the Fan590 and had this to say about the Vince Carter to New Orleans rumour:

"I've had so many calls on this. There is absolutely no substance to this. I don't know where it gets started but it is wasting my time as well as annoying players and players wives. It is very irresponsible to report things as real, when there is no truth to them. all you have to do is make one phone call to confirm things. Salary wise it wouldn't even come close to working."

The rumor--Vince Carter and Jalen Rose for P.J. Brown and Canadian Jamal Magloire--originally started on a sports talk radio station in New Orleans. "
