was driving at work today and the lloydminster radio station said that vc and jalen rose were traded to new orleans for magloire and another player i cant remember ...anyone else heard this?

Raps GM Pete Babcock took no time in shooting that rumour down:
"Rob Babcock, general manager of the Toronto Raptors was interviewed today on the Toronto radio station the Fan590 and had this to say about the Vince Carter to New Orleans rumour:
"I've had so many calls on this. There is absolutely no substance to this. I don't know where it gets started but it is wasting my time as well as annoying players and players wives. It is very irresponsible to report things as real, when there is no truth to them. all you have to do is make one phone call to confirm things. Salary wise it wouldn't even come close to working."

what can i expect from a station that calls itself "the goat"...they have the news and sports wrong on a daily basis it seems
