Actually they probably will be one of the better performances of the day, even if you don't like the music, they know how to put on a show.

i can't understand all the hate for the crue here...they may not be for everybody, but really..they do no harm..they're just all about having a good time, and they really do put on one hell of a show...

I saw Motley Crue in Feb 1999 the same week as The Hip were in Winnipeg for Phantom Power. Motley Crue was the most lameass concert I've ever seen. Vince's voice was horrible and you could hardly hear the band. Apparently Tommy Lee did his same act every night thanking the crowd for their support while he was in jail and he started crying...pretty emotional stuff when you do that at the same point of the set, every night! :roll:

People say how good they are on this tour but I refuse to give them anymore of their money...they're making enough out of the greatest hits albums they keep releasing.

I'll speak for myself. I think of Motley Crue the same way I think about KISS. To me, it's all style and no substance. I just don't think the music is worth listening to at all. The "show" is more important than the "music". It's like a Britney Spears concert or something. Too much marketing and both bands were like gimmicks. They just wanted to be famous just for the sake of being famous and getting laid. I don't see any attention paid to the music. I don't see any credible art created by Kiss or the Crue. It's fluff to me.

I don't particularly think Coldplay are that good, but at least they put some effort into their music. They aren't some circus act of a band. I don't like their music that much but have some respect for them as musicians. I don't respect KISS or Motley Crue for their music. It's pretty bad when I say Coldplay are better than both these bands. haha
That's my opinion anyway. To each their own.
