I dunno what you all are talking about. This lineup is unbelievably good if you are a teenager. I'm 24 and I like some of those bands, but they couldn't really have nailed this one any better for today's teens.

That looks more like Warped Tour than Edgefest...maybe not the greatest lineup for Hip fans, but this show is gonna be huge and I applaude the organizers who booked it.

I say throw in Sam Roberts, the Constantines, the Weakerthans, Pilate, and Broken Social Scene for some extra star power, and then you've got a show. Otherwise it's just an exclusive gig for the kiddies. The Edgefests of yore were always aimed at a wider audience, and I think they need to do the same with the latest edition. Try to get a little something in there for everybody.

I agree though, with that lineup it's still gonna sell a ton of tickets. The kids are gonna love it.
