I own St. Anger by Metallica. I tried giving this one away to my metal-loving stepbrother and he just laughed at me.

That's not my worst album, though. The worst album I own is one I downloaded just for kicks: "A Nightmare on Elm Street: Freddy's Greatest Hits". It's the guy who plays Freddy Kreuger singing covers of songs like "All I Have to do is Dream" and "Wooly Bully", along with a few new songs like "Dance... or Else!" and "Do the Freddy". I burned this one to CD just to torture my friends.

I'm not saying it's my most embarrasing album I've ever owned, but in college I disctinctly remember going to some party and people asked if there was any music. The guys who lived there had very little that wasn't thrash metal. I went to my car and grabbed my cd case from my car and gave it to some dude to put some songs on...about an hour later I heard the disctinct sounds of Neil Diamond's Cracklin Rose eminating from the stereo...I was torn apart. I still enjoy an occassional Neil song (but in the privacy of my car...windows up)

I own the Neil Diamond box set...disc three is pure satan (ie: "Turn On Your Heartlight" era). I still love the early stuff though (Shilo, et al).

He's still around...still making albums...but nobody cares because it's the same tired old shit. Between "In 3-D" and "Bad Hair Day", he was great. Now it's like...get a haircut and a real job. He has a degree in architecture, don't you know, I'd love to see what wacko crap he could come up with. He could make the Guggenheim look like a war bunker.

The Hips' last two albums are the most embarrassing albums in your entire CD collection, yet you frequent a Hip fan site? cratch:

I was just trying to get a rise outta some people. I Think IVL and IBE are a bit week for the hip. I actually have a good CD collection, not too much to say I'd be embarassed about. My wife on the other hand has Black Box which I guess I now have to say is part of my collection.
I did buy the Rheostatics cd that is a kids story without knowing it, i guess i am embarrassed about that a bit. but it isn't too bad really
