Wow, how we have all gotten so old. I remember when I had some much time, entering set lists into the database I build back in 2001 when the site was http://hipbase.lancerobinson.com/

Made the plug and registered the domain. Many moves, marriage, kids, work, life and always a Hip fan. The hipbase will always live on.

I always get a good laugh on archive.org.

I need 2 Kingston Tickets, please help.

I forgot about Hipbase Maritime tour 2007! Lance, Darren, and Rory! What a great show in Fredericton!

Obviously I was goofing off at work. On Friday the 13th. Hmmmm, that might explain everything..........

I don't even remember how I found this site? I must of googled the Hip, or I was on a message board fetish at the time. Tongue

I love IVL. I always hear how they weren't 100% pleased with the finished product, but I guess this is truly a "to each their own" scenario.

Use It Up is in my top ten favourite Hip songs.
The Darkest One has grown a lot on my over the years.
It's A Good Life If You Don't Weaken is a live staple for great reason.
Throwing Off Glass is exquisite.
Leave is an ass-kicker through and through.
The Dire Wolf is fantastic.
The Dark Canuck is a masterpiece.

I like "the little rocker that could" in Are You Ready.

The only song that doesn't do much for me on the album is All Tore Up.

All-in-all, I don't get the IVL hate.

I love IVL also, funny though, "All Tore Up" is one of my favs off of IVL. I love the speed of the song and the constant guitar along with the beat. Ive played that song so many times over the years on my headphones most of the time, then I started playing it on my iPhone in our car recently and my wife asked me the name of the song and said she really likes it. I could not believe she did not know that specific song, she told me she picks certain songs off of albums and Fully and Day for Night are the only ones she listens to front to back. I bet there are so many gems she would love if she listened to all the albums front to back like I do. IVL is chock full of great tunes imho.

Me too, December of that year but I had a different name for a few months prior to that. I, like many others, was at the Canada Day show that year. It was my first Hip show. I found the base when I was searching for pictures from that show.

So...since this page is nothing to do with nothing...I'm wondering if any one can tell me which show the hip played their best version of Chagrin Falls with a "A" quality recording. I totally love that tune.
