I recorded this last night - I did not realize it was going to be an entire studio performance of the album.
I can't wait to watch it now - I am hoping it breathes some life (or any life) into the new CD for me.
It was on Palladia TV which is a great, great live music channel - I am not sure if it is available everywhere or not.
This week alone I recorded Robert Plant - Neil Young Heart Of Gold (concert film by Jonathan
Demme) and Radiohead

Finally, Radiohead in Toronto Saturday June 16th.

Been waiting for this for a while now. They are 3 or 4 shows into the US King of Limbs tour and the set lists so far are amazing. Different every night.

Tragically, it’s a GA outdoor show at Downsview Park. Going to have to bite the bullet on this one though, no way I'm missing it.

You'd think it was the second coming of Christ when Radiohead announced their Australian tour. People lost their shit. Am I the only one that finds these guys ridiculously overrated?

Only if that's the biggest overstatement of all time.

It’s really a moot point; I don't even get who the Raters actually are. Media, fans, haters, etc...? No one is making anyone buy their music or go to their shows, so to imply both fans and casual listeners are so easily influenced by this “rating system” seems somewhat condescending. If you don't like them as much as other people do or don’t like them at all that’s perfectly fine, totally respect that.

As always to each their own, but it’s hard to dismiss the overall body of work these guys have put on the table, and the way they interact with their fans. Check out W.A.S.T.E. or Ateaseweb.com. This is a highly organized collaborative community so I’m not surprised when people make a big deal about seeing them live. The media hype might be annoying but that’s not a reflection on the millions that appreciate what this band is all about.

Totally legitimate points, and I apologize for my comment. That's the beauty of music, you can like and dislike any of it. I agree that ratings systems are condescending if it influences how people perceive a band or artist. If the listener likes it then its good to that listener and that's all that should matter.

Snagged tickets today for their June 16th show! This will be my first time seeing them live, and will leave only one band left on my "must see" list.....
