They started a GSP chant during Starnes' match. Starnes just wrote his own ticket out of the UFC for that embarassing performance. Starnes is a tool. I thought he was a tool when I saw him on TUF show and last night was just further proof of it.

GSP won easily. I did find it interesting that GSP was scared to strike with Serra. :rambo:

I don't think it was a case of GSP being scared to strike with Serra, I just think he really wanted to win the belt back in his hometown. He didn't want to give Serra the same opportunity to catch him like in their first fight. By taking the fight to the ground, he knew that he would dominate him and get the win. Mission accomplished.

agreed. GSP looks like he should be fighting at 185 when he is on. Just manhandles guys at 170. Whos next for him. The spider? Love to see that.

Fitch is next for him. Silva/GSP MIGHT happen in the future though. Silva would destroy GSP in the striking department. I'm not sure if GSP could get Silva down as much as he would like, either, so it would be an uphill battle for GSP. I'd take Silva to win that fight, possibly by KO.

I understand that GSP had a gameplan that he worked to perfection. I'm not criticizing him for his utter domination of Serra. I'm just saying, for being considered to be the much better striker, he wasn't confident in winning the fight standing. That's the exact reason why Fitch has said that GSP is scared to get hit, and why Fitch will continue to say it to try to get into the head of GSP. Mental warfare.
