Jenna left her copy of AFF in my car, so I've been listening to it quite a bit. Pretty good stuff. I tend to appreciate her upbeat tunes more than her melacholy ones. Some of her stuff just isn' my type of thing, but I tell you what -- "The Cheapest Key" is one infectious ditty.

Her voice is incredible (as you all know) and she has quite the penchant for melody. I especially like how she often doubles choruses with her own vocal harmonies. Sounds terrific. What strikes me is her incredible pitch control...she can quickly and sharply snap to different notes without "sliding", and never sacrifices any of that wonderful timbre.

She's a fine vocalist and a good songwriter :thumb:

I couldn't agree more. She has a very unique instrument with that voice of hers. At the same time I love how it also has that smokey, beer-soaked quality to it.

I was at the Phoenix last night. The show was really good. I thought that Kathleen and the band varied some of the new songs quite nicely for their live renditions. Tweaked just a little to make them interesting. Alicia Ross was very powerfully done as a solo. There seemed to be tapers present. Does anyone know if they make the concert available and, if so, where?
