Selling unauthorized pictures of any band may/will get you into hot water with the lawyers....

Depends how you sell them. But yes, a book made up primarily of pictures of the band could get you in hot water.

Several years ago, actually, I had it in mind to write a book on the Hip. But I shelved that idea, because the kind of book I wanted to write wasn't the kind of book people want to read.

Maybe if it's non-profit, or better yet, for charity, The Hip will get behind it and everyone will be a winner!

I was thinking more of a fundraiser for hipfans/the tracker but then the whole eBay Promo CD came about and so I had put it on the backburner for now.

Actually, to be quite honest, I wasn't even thinking about selling them, I was more thinking about doing one of my work for myself...that's why I suggested I could make a couple of extra copies for 'friends' that were interested.

But of course, I don't want to piss anyone off, especially the band.
