I heard the announcement at 7:10 this morning. I can not find the info either on the website. If it is true I hope I can get tickets not being a member of the fan club...

i saw it there this morning but apparently the station was not supposed to leak the info yet...thats why they took it down and stopped talking about it. It was an unofficial date anyways, wait for the rumorpit update.

The Power 97 website now has a Pearl Jam concert listed on its website, September 8 @ the MTC Centre (or whatever it's called). Might still be premature, but I'm going to start believe this is true.

I heard the official announcement this morning on Wheeler and Hal and almost had a freak out at work! They said that the fan club members will be the first ones to find out all the details, ie) opening act, ticket prices and when they go on sale. It's about time Eddie came to the 'Peg! This show will be selling out for sure.

Just for fun...if that wild and crazy rumour of a Thunder Bay show were ever to come to fruition, it would likely be September 9. So in theory, I could fly back home for the show, then drive down to Minneapolis for the Vikings' home opener on September 11.

It's nice to dream, isn't it?

Ticket information has not been released, but an official announcement with more details is coming!

This whole thing sounds pretty confirmed to me, I think Power 97 was just supposed to keep a lid on it for a while longer.

This will work out perfectly assuming it is true and Pearl Jam is touring from west to east. School doesn't start for me until September 12 so hopefully I'll be able to take in another show or two in addition to the Winnipeg one without having to miss any school.
