With the announced release of the "original" So Hard Done By recording - it gets me to thinking how much I like the version from Day For Night.
With So Hard Done By being one of my favorite songs, I almost wish it went slower, not faster.
The re-release is going to be a faster version.

I adore the day for night version as well
one of the first 'drop D' songs i ever learned on guitar, I can stay hynoptized in that riff for days

I heard the boys jam out to fast 'So Hard Done By' during Fredericton 2007 soundcheck. I couldn't believe my ears.
Then they soundchecked Freak Turbulence.
Then they put Freak Turbulence on the set list.
Then they skipped it and played Courage instead...
