I don't think it's really any sort of marketing stratagy. I'm sure it's just a one off thing. They've been recording around there, maybe this DJ guy is friends with one or all of them and they just thought it'd be kinda cool to play a couple of the new tunes at a game or two. Who knows, but I'm sure they're not trying to win over the whole world playing a couple clips during a Canucks game, just having some fun.
Actually I bet it's one of the players that's been hanging around with the guys.

I remember when The Hip toured either for IVL, or M@W, they were spotted at a Canucks/Rangers game in Vancouver...who knows, maybe that's when they made friends with someone there?

I think it's really no secret that TTH has friends/connectionz all over this country, especially the bigger metropolis noir's such as VAN, They are treated as Kings among men up here, they've earned it. And prawly get the same treatment in lotsa pockets of the U.S. as well.On another note I'm hopin the new album has aton a acoustic,I have this sence it may......since hearin Black Day In July. It's a talent both Paul and Bobby are wicked at,and Gord is joining that club too......
