Well, even though the Hip are my favourite band, Neil Young deserves to be #1. He is just way too important to Canadian, and rock music in general. The resaon Joel Plaskett is so high is because it's a Halifax station and there are some major local biases (although I'm not knocking Joel Plaskett).

I Mother Earth used to by my favourite band. Scenery And Fish is an amazing album, but it doesn't hail in comparison to their phenomenal "The Quicksilver Meat Dream". That must be the most underrated Canadian album in a decade. And I'm not surprised to see Jimmy Swift or Joel Plaskett on this list, as this list was compiled out of Halifax, and those two are fellow Haligonians. Also, great to see Minglewood on there! And...
