I was listening to the Dean Blundell show this morning, and some jackass called in during the whats wrong with you segment and told the story about how he put his ballsack on his friends face when he fell asleep while watching a Leafs game. The story was good enough to get this fuckin moron into the private hip show on the 17th :roll:

When this happens I am surprised the boys wouldn't Ok maybe 10-25 tix for a private show of this nature to be distributed into some sort of draw within this community. It's obvious they know of this site and the impact it has had on keeping many of us together when their own site didn't offer as much as it does now! (thx MAv)

I am aware it's all part of the promotion of the New Cd...and random radio listeners need to go. Mainly thinking of some of us decade+ long hipstorians It's just a thought... I never worry to much about "getting in" .. it always seems to work out... I just think of the seats that get filled by the fan who might download a few new songs... but walks out talking about Road Apples. ....

So anyone want to guess at the venue?

Don't you love radio stations? I don't understand why all radio stations these days who cater to the "rock" market seem to resort to this kind of idiocy. I just plain can't listen to morning shows because the "personalities" are so obnoxious. Guys like Dean Blundell or John Derringer on Q107 or any other morning show host seem like the most obnoxious idiots in the world.

Don't get me wrong, I can enjoy crude and obscene humor sometimes, but not when it comes from obnoxious idiots. For example, Will Ferrel movies tend to be incredibly crude and low-brow humor, but I find them funny because it's obvious the humor comes from a smart place (such as the literary references and social commentary in Talledega Nights). People like Dean Blundell and other morning show hosts on the other hand just seem to be stupid and do that kind of humor because it's the only thing they get.

Actually... another greta hipbaser has helped with me getting into the horseshoe... but I really want to attend the CBC... with my daughter...who's almost 5! I want her to experience TTH up close and see how a TV show is made... make for a great afternoon for some father/daughter time. I had her to LIVE 8... and she is humming In View already... with ARE WE FAMILY being her favourite... currently.

I did email late last night... but no repsonse of yet... there is always another pair somewhere... I think the email will come. I'm patient and persistent... if you check the other Thread on the MAV's Stash.
