Just heard on edge 102 this morning that the hip are playing a private show at a secret location on October 17th. The only way to go is to win tickets on the radio for contests or through the inside edge.
Start listening!! They give aways tickets every day at 10am, 2pm, 6pm and 10pm if you call in.

When this happens I am surprised the boys wouldn't Ok maybe 10-25 tix for a private show of this nature to be distributed into some sort of draw within this community. It's obvious they know of this site and the impact it has had on keeping many of us together when their own site didn't offer as much as it does now! (thx MAv)
I am aware it's all part of the promotion of the New Cd...and random radio listeners need to go. Mainly thinking of some of us decade+ long hipstorians It's just a thought... I never worry to much about "getting in" .. it always seems to work out... I just think of the seats that get filled by the fan who might download a few new songs... but walks out talking about Road Apples. ....
