I think I'd leave Hannan off that list... he's pretty streaky, and Rob Blake and Adam Foote play awfully well together...even though Foote isn't having his best season

I'm surprised it hasn't been mentioned, but Marc Savard deserves a closer look at maybe getting a spot on the team...

I think the problem with Savard is that he's burned a lot of bridges in the NHL and a lot of people assume that his numbers are because of Kovalchuk. And of course playing in Atlanta doesn't help.

True. But as far as numbers go, the same could be inferred about Spezza playing with Heatley and Alfredsson.. maybe even more so.

Good point - but given Spezza won the AHL scoring title last year and was a #2 pick and plays in Ottawa, he'll always get more attention in Canada - unless Savard gets traded to the Leafs. :lol:

But I do agree - it is surprising what little attention he has received given his numbers this year.
