Is there a reason why there can't be 16 songs on a CD?

Definitely not... especially one that's already so short like IBE. I think it would've been great to keep them on.

CMG has 16 songs, and it's all the more brilliant for its volume. Can you imagine what that album would be missing if you took off 3 or 4 songs to make a "normal length Hip record"???

I downloaded the Mod club show (audio) and in one of the Q&A sessions, Gordie was asked about the songs that were cut and he (tongue-in-cheek) said that they had to cut some songs out and those songs had more swears, so that is why they were chosen.

But he did say that, one way or the other, they were going to get these songs out to the fans.
