New songs that remind you of old songs

Here's one....."One Night in Copenhagen" reminds me of the Stones song, "Let's Spend The Night Together".
Especially the start of both songs, for me anyways.....anyone else??

Also Gord singing that little bit at the very end of Copenhagen, sounds a lot like the one Mick Jager did in their song....

I totally hear RITFW at the start of Heart...
At the start of Makeshift, I also hear 'Downtown', from the Neil Young & Pearl Jam album....

I think the band's got a big Neil Young thing going on....

This might sound ridiculous, but before the lyrical outro to SIKU, the instrumental part really, really, really reminds me of Baba O'Reilly by The Who... I'm thinking its the same rhythm, and the same chords, but instead of going down the scale (on the bass), Gord plays the last two (out of three) chords an octave higher... does anybody hear this?

To be influenced by Neil Young is to have very good taste in music! Smile Yeah, the songs have similarities and that's bound to happen with the amount of songs they've composed. Hey, ever listen to Young's "Mr. Soul" and during the intro get ready to sing "Satisfaction"?
