Speaking of "the songs", WHEN are we gonna get a tracklist?! I'm dying to know if both Ballroom and Josephine made it on the record.

When was the last time a single was released before the album's tracklist??

'98, Phantom Power. Might have been that way for M@W as well.

I don't think M@W was that way. They had the demo website set up with the song info revealed gradually, that's true, but the actual tracklist I believe we had mefore the single's release - which wasn't all that long before the album itself was released.

I remember back in the 90's when we use to have to call in to get clipz of the new songs....anyone remember doing that? ahh the good ole dayz......as for the new song........I LOve It...... :thumb:

I will not give up. My face is set,my gait is fast,my goal is heaven,my road is narrow,my way is rough,my companions are few,my guide is reliable,my mission is clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, diluted or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity,or meander in the maze of mediocrity. I will not give up,shut up or slow down....Blessed Be!

Sadly it appears that Fighter Fighter may not be on the album. Of course it may just be under a different title now.

May "Fighter Fighter" R.I.P a great song that may not see the light of day.

As for "Vaccination Scar". I don't think you can get a song that is as close to something of Road Apples than that. sur eit may not have a catchy chorus but when cranked up the song is one of the best rocking songs the hip have done since ........ well "Nautical disaster"....of course that's just my sad opinion.

Rock on Hip!!!

CanuckCourage Wrote:I like it, it's a great rocking tune. Combined with Joe and Ballroom, this album is looking great , as usual.. Irish Hip Guy has the best idea , here's an excerpt from a post of his review of the Whistler show.

Which new songs stood out?
Fighter was by far my favorite of the new songs. It totally rocked. It will be a classic Hip live tune.

Makeshift was another highlight. It had a good rockin beat with Gord and Paul doing some great backups in the chorus.

Another stand out was What's up With Gus. A song Gord described as a song about a Polar Bear named Gus.

I'm getting excited thinking about the possibilities. :thumb:

its a hell of lot better than good life. picking that song as the first or any single was retarded. i know a lot of people love the song. but, there were more obvious choices available in my opinion.

I'm scared about the new album if the label thinks this is the catchiest song on it.

was good life the catchiest on IVL?

Do you remember any of the lyrics from Fighter, and possibly another title for the song? Could it be Summer is Killing Us? Or Are We Family? Ahhhh the anticipation...
