Agreed it is a great song...To tell you the truth and not to get into this again but I think that the CD is pretty good although I know they have stated it was not one of their best efforts.

Darkest One is an awesome song. One of the best on IVL... and it has an awesome video to go along with it!

Being "one of the best on IVL" still doesn't necessarily make it one of the best 35 in The Hip's catalogue. Since Yer Favourites was supposedly voted on by fans I may be in the majority but The Darkest One is probably my 4th favourite tune on IVL and doesn't crack my top 50.

That being said, I still don't understand why the band hasn't included it on a setlist since July 2002.

For your fondness of The Darkest One you get 2 buckets of chicken.
