Is their a site...? - Valente - 10-31-2006

Is their a website like Youtube, but for audio files?

Just wondering if there's such a community.

sites like Nugs.net or Archive.org have boatloads of live music
I would say the majority of music on these sites consists of stuff by Jam Bands

Nugs.Net Free Stash
Band Listing @ Archive.org

That's cool, thanks. What about for uploading your own audio files you want to share? That's what I'm talking about. Any idea?

You may want to take a look at Stickam.com. You can upload audio, video, and image files that can be shared through a customizable player that doubles as a Webcam interface (if anyone's into that).

There are some file-size limits and I've experienced a couple of upload problems but for a free service/player, it's worth a look.
