Vote for the song you believe is weakest from the lead singles and after 48 hours, we'll eliminate the song with the most votes and move on to round 9. In the event of a tie, both songs will be eliminated.

I voted for Locked, not because I don't love the song, just because I don't ever think of it as the lead single off FC

Voted for Blow this round. I love it, and I know it's a CanRock classic and everything. But those other songs are just so damn good.

what an amazing time that must have been!!! i mean, to go from the sound of the Road Apples album. and then introducing the "new direction" with a single like LOCKED! That song is such an incredible turn into uncharted territory.
this poll should be considered not for the song itself. but the way it reflects as a representative and an introduction to the new album.
Locked it think can possibly beat Grace by that aspect. possibly. but not fully, nor completely

I think that's sort of what I'm saying - even though we arrived at different results for voting in this round. I arrived at the Hip late in the DFN / early TATHH period and at that time I never would have guessed Locked was the first single from this album - for the exact reason you suggested. But to your point I believe the song to be a better lead single than Grace, just that I have never associated Locked as a lead single the way I have with Poets or In View or ABAC,
I think I said earlier that Poets is my horse in this one!
