Hope these are also re-mastered by Ludwig, horribly compressed on CD.
I don't find these as compressed as a lot of recent music, but keen to hear if they are opened a bit on vinyl. World Container is a pretty dense Bob Rock production, for lack of a better word. I'd guess maybe their most tracked recording? The Drop Off is an amazing headphone song. I know that album does not get a lot of love, but I really enjoy it.
Main thing I've got from these vinyl re-releases, or tracking down OPs....Paul is a rhythm beast who sings way more backup then I'd picked up before, Gord S has some underappreciated bass lines that were lost in the mix. Bottom end of the re-release DFN demolished the CD or original vinyl pressing.

Has anybody received their Phantom Power, Music At Work or In Violet Light yet?
Curious to see what the artwork is like. I was a little disappointed at the minimal artwork for Day For Night, but I guess I can let that slide... however...
The Phantom Power lyric is gorgeous. I love the gaudy colors inside Music At Work.
Also, the inside packaging for World Container and In Between Evolution is amazing as well... hope somehow this artwork will be represented in these releases.

Is anyone else feeling the inevitability of being hit with a gorgeous limited box set after buying all of these reissues over 3 different waves?
 :music

I wonder -- the general trend seems to be release the box set first usually with some bonus or exclusive item, then release the albums individually afterwards minus the exclusive. Sort of like Tom Petty box set, then to-date no Wildflowers reissue, Neko Case with box set plus Canadian Amp.

I don't listen to much recent music and WC was the last CD I bought, makes my ears bleed.
IBE is almost as bad, followed by IVL, can only play those 3 turned way down.

Based on the DR ratios comparing We Are The Same CD to vinyl, WC should be an improvement for you -- assuming Bob Rock kept the same studio approach.

Yup, really happy with the 3 Ludwig vinyl remasters released so far - fingers crossed for the next 5 (something wrong with all of those on CD to my ears).
