"If there's a turning point in the season, this should be it". - Bernie Williams, June 21, 2005.

Tampa Bay 5, NY Yankees 3 - June 22, 2005.
Tampa Bay 9, NY Yankees 4 - June 23, 2005.

Yep, nothing says "the Yankees are back" like going 3-7 against the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.

Yes, that's right friends, you read that right.

The Yanks have won 3 and lost 7 (!) to that "powerhouse", the Tampa Bay freakin' Devil Rays.

Put that in your pipe and smoke it, Yankee fans!  :thumb:

ps: we're in third place, and we play Baltimore next, an excellent oppertunity to climb up to 2nd.

Red Sox are dominating!!! The bats have awakened and Curt Schilling will be back in about 2 weeks. Good luck to the rest of the AL East....you're gonna need it.

I agree, Wells was a little shaky today but overall he's doing pretty good, Clement is just smoking the ball by batters and with Schilling coming back, the Red Sox are back in the driver's seat. I predict the Yanks will finish between 5-10 games over .500 max and the Sox will win the division with 100 wins. Anybody want to make a bet on that? 8)

No.

all we gotta do is get the wildcard, just like the Red Sox did last year...winning the AL East would be alright by me too though.

So fans of the DOMINATING Yankees are now hoping for a Wild Card? Hilarious.

we'll take what we can get...either way, playoffs is a whole new season.

Yanks win a wild one in Baltimore!

Boston gets spanked by the Indians!

about time the Indians woke up, Sox were their daddy last series between these two teams. It seems to me the Orioles are starting to go put-put-put like a clogged intake valve on a transmission.
