Can someone please explain the videos to me?
I get the concept...love, hope, etc...but, why kids?
I am going to go out on a limb here and suggest that the majority of Hip fans are 25 plus years of age.
And, are videos NOT a promtional avenue for the album?
I find these videos to be REALLY weak. Yes, they tell a story, but c'mon. I almost fell asleep watching them.
Why just Gord? Where are Bobby, Paul, Gord and Johhny?

Totally, Negphil. It smacks of sophmore year. I don't mean that as an insult - it just is what it is. Actually, if this is a underclassman college level project, it's pretty damn good. Want a more constructive bit of criticism, Mr./Miss Hypothetical Editor? Avoid the "A is for Apple" style of editing. It's way too snoozy.

When I heard that line for the first time I was utterly perplexed and in a metaphysical quandry because I couldn't figure out how she turned around to say good-bye and he was already on his bike, yet he was also riding with her bike by his side. Then the video showed me exactly how this was accomplished and I smacked my forehead at the obvious physical, if unconventional, explanation.
I also liked how she popped in the mixed tape exactly on cue. Classic Beck.

I like the videos. As long as you view them with an eye towards art or film school project, or favourtoafriend, then they are cool.....
I wouldn't suggest they be the "official" videos sent out to Much though, if that even still occurs in Music these days..... I can't remember the last time I watched Much!

On the rare occurance that MM actually does play a video it's not a hip video.
