thank you! at first I felt like I was out of the loop...I thought everybody but me knew that this had been released! But then I checked on here...and there was no discussion about it. I was in shock! So I was like "I must share my secret!! Big Grin"
So I did. Smile
Wonder why we didn't get an email or new blog post or anything yet... must have just been put up.
Anyhoo...I think it is a great video. It is exactly how it played out in my mind...except the genders are switched. Wonderfully done.

bad choice for a single. bad video that ads nothing to the song and is boring to watch.

Man, they're really half-assing the superfluous stuff for this album. Us not knowing about this till now is an example.

First you go to www.thehip.com and then click on..wait for it... VIDEO!!

and on page 4 of the videos, you click on "The Last Recluse"

agreed, the video is boring, TLR is a nice song but a bit of a strange choice for the first video.

Oh well its not like people will even see it much, video is totally dead imo, how many times have you been flipping through music channels and caught a Hip video? Im not even sure why bands even bother anymore, that would probably explain why its such a cheap video too.

Weak video.

But I love the Toronto city skyline.

For that matter, caught any video? I'm not sure why bands make videos at all, other than to post on their site. I can't imagine too many people download videos off of iTunes.

With my astute sensing ability - I see a theme going on here between "Michelle Trachtenburg" and "Lyle Lovett"
Actually, I do not remember ever seeing a music video sequence like this from anyone.

So the order is supposed to be Morning Moon, Recluse and then Coffee?
