Hi Soupy & everyone,
(this is my first post)
I'm from the UK (Midlands) and recently discovered The Hip back in August 06. I got Yer Favourites, and from the very first moment I heard it I was addicted. I knew about The Hip for a long time before but never really checked them out (I have Sarah Polley's version of "Courage" on "The Sweet Hereafter" soundtrack, that's how I discoverted them). However, I'm regretting that now. Since August, I have also bought all their album, Gord's solo albums and the Stripper's Union album. I've also downloaded everything off hundredthmeridian.com. Full fledged Hip mania! I've even recommended the Hip to everyone I know.
For the past 6 months I have listened to nothing but The Hip, and World Container is excellent, although my favourite is Fully Completely. The only albums that I don't fully love yet are IVL and M@W, but i'm slowly warming to them.
"Nautical Disaster" is now one of my all-time favourite songs.
I got my albums from amazon.co.uk marketplace - as others on this thread have also said, the prices are excellent, but be sure to choose a reliable seller.

Hi, Original Thread starter back.
Well 'Evolution' has grown on me quite alot, i'd still say I prefer WC and Violet Light more.
Anyway i've added to my Hip collection again.
Day For Night : Stunning album, all the good words you've told me about this album was true. My fav Hip album so far.
Henhouse : I'm alittle indifferent towards this one at the minute, maybe this one like 'Evolution' will be a grower.
Got Phantom Power, Road Apples & Music @ Work on order.

Thick you'll have some instant fun with Phantom and Apples. Music@Work is more hard work.
TATHH is probably my least fav TTH album to date.
