Is anybody going to try and catch soundcheck? There's no way the doors will be open, and the concession stand workers won't be accepting bribes (we tried last time in 2002 to no avail), but the upper level courtyard outside made for a really good spot to listen to the boys warming up. I think last time they sent out an email on the day of the show saying what time soundcheck was. I sent an email to The Hip asking if they were planning on doing the same thing this year, but haven't heard back.

i can only offer info as to what happened last nye for the hip in hammertown...
walts was way OVER packed so we ended up finding another bar/restaurant in the jackson square, not far from walts...anyone know the name of that one?

Toby's is in the same place (jackson square), just a little furthur east (toward james street, away from copps)

oops, double post :oops: Anyway, I know it was briefly touched on, earlier in this topic but does anyone care to venture a time the Hip will hit the stage roughly, I was at the last NYE show but I was sooo blitzed I dont remember when it started, anyone remember the time approx.? Im just trying to plan out my friday, both me and my wife have to work and have dinner before the show so Im not sure what time I should leave London. Thanks in advance :thumb:

I've just had a real shitty year (I don't think anyone wants/likes to hear sob stories so we'll leave it at that) and this is the best thing to happen to me in a long time...You know you'll have fun, regardless of where your sitting!
