 You guys are just the type of creative force the studio was looking for! This Hollywood crap is easy!
Okay, when do we get rich?

We could have a big climatic scene where the bad guy gets thrown over Niagra falls or is dropped from CN tower!

Yeah we definitely need a Daredevil scene, plungin' ohhhver the falls.

Speaking of which, maybe we could insert a ripoff of Superman saving that dumb kid playing on the railing overlooking Niagra Falls in the first Superman movie, with Gord being Superman of course :thumb:

better Gord perhaps?
Statham's got the chops, but Niles clearly more closely resembles Gord.

Now that I think about it, David Hyde-Pierce can lend more gravitas and comic timing to the character of Gord. I can't see Statham doing some of the loopy great flailing on stage ala Gord. Great suggestion! :thumb:

Don't know... I liked David Hyde Pierce in Frasier, and he can be funny in other situations, but I think he'd have to bulk up or toughen up a bit somehow to pull it off... he just looks a bit too fragile and straight to play someone who goes a little loopy on stage like Gord.

I dunno, doesn't look like Gord at all to me... plus, I'd always be distracted by the fact that he's Sideshow Bob's brother.

DHP is a bit too high brow to play Gord. He's too "thespian" however, if you saw him in Nixon he can be kinda hard nosed but it's not enough to be Gord.

DHP was pretty kickass in Nixon, imo. I've always identified with his Niles character and think if he could combine that with his performance in Nixon he'd be pretty damm close to playing Gord.

Nixon's a kick ass flick all around. There are so many cinemagraphic cliches when your doing a movie in the white house, but Ollie somehow managed to avoid them all. It's beautiful, it's original, it's got a guy in it named "Tricky Dick." Can't beat it.
