They are actually 13 and 14.

Or maybe it was 14 songs if Depression Suite counts as 3 songs.

They were up briefly this morning in the video section of thehip.com and have been taken down since that time.

After recollecting on these video's over the course of the day since I watched them this morning, it makes me like the music better in an odd way. I realize these are cheaply made unofficial videos that were probably just intended to appeal to a few fans by being released only to the website, but the video's reflect the music so well and I think the low production value add to that in an ironic way. Hopefully these will be back up soon. The part in Recluse where Gord is riding his bike away from the boat holding his daughters bike as it glides beside him is incredible. As I mentioned earlier in the thread, I love literal music video's.

Maybe not his real daughter, but in the video she is supposed to be.

Re: The Last Recluse Music Video - hipnosis - 04-17-2009

do the other videos explain the storyline that she is his daughter? I just didn't catch it. Cry
I only had the chance to watch it once before they were all taken down >.<

I just based that on the massive age difference, Gord's in his 40's and that girl looked like she was 20, and the fact that she got on the boat to go be with her husband/boyfriend. To me it looked like Gord was seeing his daughter off.

Re: The Last Recluse Music Video - hipnosis - 04-18-2009

ahh... well I guess I needed to watch it when I hadn't already been up for almost 2 days straight. :jump :jump :jump
Hopefully they will be up and running again soon. :nooooo

Read the previous posts... they've been taken down, for whatever reason, and we are all awaiting their return.

I'm honestly checking the Hip.com a couple times a day now for the videos. I'm really looking forward to seeing them. It's always nice to see a visual interpretation of the song.
