Hysterical observation, Esthete! :thumb:

But ya know, I grew up on the east coast of Florida and it was cool but I don't think I'll ever leave Metro Detroit for any other US city! So many clubs, so many major venues, so many bands - big and small. Detroit truly is Rock City.

Have you guys seen the shots on Sports Center? Ford Field is in the heart of downtown and there has been some extensive street cleaning and such but for the most part, that's what it looks like every night. I've walked those streets at 3:00 AM after a show or a bar and never had a problem.

Haven't heard of Vanity Supercharger, Ballgame, but I'll check 'em out. Regarding my site, I'd love to get some local feature stuff on there but my schedule's pretty full right now and until I can free up some time, it's sort of an impossibilium. Don't know what kind of non-Hip music you're into but Auralgasms is Detroit-based and features some great artists.

Nautical Disaster single (pending confirmation)
Long Time Running single
Locked In The Boot 12" single
Twist My Arm promo
Cordelia EP

Either way, I think that this helps explain the popularity of this rant.

It was also on the UK 12" single for Little Bones I believe - I will search to see if I still have it when I get home.

OK I am not going insane... I DO have the Little Bones UK 12" and it does indeed feature the Killer Whale Tank version of NOIS, recorded Live at the Roxy, Los Angeles May 3, 1991.

Sadly someone I loaned it to managed to warp it by leaving on a radiator...

Devistating. Their records are hard to come by these days, it pains me to hear of somthing like that happening.
